Energy Detective is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including visitors with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive impairments.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the AA standard of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 across this website. We are not able to guarantee full compliance at all times, particularly where content is delivered through third-party tools, but we work to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis.

What We've Put in Place

• Text that can be resized using your browser's zoom or text-size controls without loss of content or function
• A colour palette chosen with attention to contrast between text and background
• Clear, consistent page structure using proper headings, so the site can be navigated with a screen reader or by keyboard
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images where practical
• Layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and devices

Known Limitations

Some parts of this website rely on third-party tools we don't fully control, including our checkout provider (ThriveCart) and embedded video or booking content. These third-party tools may not meet the same accessibility standard as the rest of our site, and we are not always able to modify them directly.
