Energy Detective Online is responsible for collecting, processing, storing and safe-keeping personal information as part of providing our services. If you provide us with your email address it will be stored, along with your first name, via Flodesk. Flodesk have their own privacy policy and will protect your data. You can find out more at flodesk.com/privacy.

If you contact us or interact with us via Instagram, including through automated messaging, some information (such as your Instagram handle and message content) may be processed via ManyChat to manage that conversation. ManyChat have their own privacy policy, which you can review directly on their website.

We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides that processing of your data shall only be lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:

Any health data collected from you has special protection and is limited to that permissible by law.

09. Website Analytics & Targeted Marketing

We use Google Analytics to improve our visibility and to monitor website browser behaviour and navigation across our site. Data collected may include:

From time to time, we may run paid advertising through Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When active, these campaigns may use cookies and similar technologies to track ad effectiveness and show relevant content to previous visitors. This advertising is not run continuously, and only Meta platforms are currently used for this purpose.
